Egmont in cooperation with IRELAC has the pleasure of inviting you to a SEMINAR in preparation of the CELAC-EU Summit of Heads of State and Government, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Mr Didier Reynders.

The 8th EU-ALC Summit, or the 2nd EU-CELAC Summit, will be held in Brussels on the 10th and 11th June 2015.  Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Mr Didier Reynders, will give the keynote speech.  This seminar offers an opportunity for Belgium to define a strategy for cooperation forging a strong partnership with a region which is in full growth, economically, socially and politically.  This voluntary approach based on research of the evolution of the region since the Nineties should hopefully result in a closer partnership and a better knowledge of our Latin American partners.  The EU and Belgium’s position as well as that of the CELAC will emerge as more forceful and pragmatic in future cooperation between the two regions.

Registration by 8 April is mandatory.
