Egmont Institute COVID-19 message

Egmont Institute,

Dear members, partners, alumni and friends,

In line with the Belgian national security council’s guidelines, the Egmont Institute is taking measures to ensure the health and safety of our team members and help limit the spread of COVID-19. It is important that our team and families remain safe and healthy during this challenging time, and our thoughts are with those impacted by coronavirus.

The Egmont Institute will remain open and will continue to provide high-quality analysis on all the topics that we cover to our members, partners, the press and the wider public. How we will share and deliver that analysis will change.

There will be no events involving a physical audience until further notice. Smaller, non-essential meetings will either be postponed to a later date or held remotely. But you can still expect to receive Egmont Institute publications in your inbox.

For all journalists, the easiest way to reach us is through our Head of Communications, Jean-Christophe Hoste (+32 497 93 00 67 | jc.hoste@egmontinstitute.be ), who will put you in touch with the relevant expert.

These measures will take effect as of today, 16 March.

We will re-evaluate our approach as the situation develops and communicate any change or update immediately. In the meantime, we hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.

Thank you for your understanding and continuing support.

Johan Verbeke
