Flore Beaumond joined the Egmont Institute in August 2019 as Trainee project assistant, to support the Education and Training Programme team in conceiving and organising trainings for foreign diplomats.
After graduating with a Masters in International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, she followed a specialisation course in Human Rights at the University of Vienna. During that time, she worked at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in Vienna and worked with the International Labour Office (ILO) in Mauritania on child protection.
Lastly, she was working at Ashoka in Tokyo, a global NGO that identifies and supports social entrepreneurs. Flore shows particular interest in understanding and building relations with people from other cultures and is enthusiastic to embark on a career in the International Cooperation & Development sector.
