Guillaume de Harlez

Biography

Guillaume de Harlez joined the Egmont Institute in October 2022 as a Trainee Project Assistant for the Education and Training Programme where he supports the organisation of training courses as part of the Civilian Crisis Management pillar of the Institute. After graduating with a Master’s degree in International Relations at UCLouvain, Guillaume worked as an atypical Trainee within DG International Partnerships at the European Commission. While there, he worked mainly on the preparation and implementation of the Boost Africa programme, which aims to further develop sustainable sector growth in Africa and which is part of the EU External Investment Plan.
