Raphaëlle Godts joined the Egmont Institute in May 2021 as a Project Manager for the Education & Training Programme. She supports the organisation and planning of trainings, as well as partnerships with foreign schools of public administration.
After obtaining her Master’s degree in law (Université Catholique de Louvain and University of Geneva), she completed a Master’s degree in human rights (Université Saint-Louis) during which she carried out several internships at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European External Action Service (EEAS). She then joined the Brussels Bar and worked as a lawyer for a corporate law firm for three and a half years. In this framework, she specialised in environmental law. Raphaëlle then worked for 6 months on the UNODC Maritime Crime Programme in Mauritius before joining the Egmont Institute.
She speaks French, Dutch and English fluently.
