Biography

Sophie Blandin joined the Egmont Institute in March 2023 as a Trainee Project Assistant for the Education & Training Programme.  Sophie is a post-graduate from Maastricht University, where she obtained a master in European Studies, and from Brussels School of Governance, where she obtained a master in Global Security and Strategy. Then, she worked as an intern project assistant at the Center for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (VUB/BSOG). Focused on the MENA region and Africa as a whole, she is mainly interested in migration governance, peace-processes and the development of institutions.
