Biography

Yann Riegel joined the Egmont Institute in March 2023 as a Trainee Project Assistant for the Education & Training Programme, where he supports the organisation of training courses, including the Civilian Crisis Management pillar of the Institute, as well as the Partnership with the School of Public Administration of the Democratic Republic of Congo (ENA RDC).

He completed Master’s degrees related to international relations and European affairs in Sciences Po Strasbourg, York University and the College of Europe in Natolin. Before joining our Institute, he worked as a trainee in the French Embassy in Switzerland and Liechtenstein and the European External Action Service (Afghanistan/Pakistan and Southeast Asia units).
