1 Sep 2025: Closing of ENA RDC Traineeships and Validation of the Revised Curriculum (Training)

On 1 September at the Egmont Palace, we had the honour of welcoming H.E. Mr. Jean-Pierre LIHAU, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Public Service, Administrative Reform and Public Service Innovation of the DRC, accompanied by a Congolese delegation including Mr. Cédric TOMBOLA MUKE, Director General of the ENA RDC. The ceremony highlighted two important steps in Belgian-Congolese cooperation: the conclusion of a three-month professional traineeship for the 10 students of the 9th “Mamadou NDALA” class of ENA RDC, carried out within Belgian partner public administrations, and the joint validation of the revised initial training curriculum. The professionalism of the trainees was unanimously praised by the host institutions, while the updated curriculum—co-developed by over 50 Belgian and Congolese experts—will be implemented as of the 10th class. With 69 ENA RDC graduates having now benefited from this Belgian traineeship, the partnership, supported by Enabel and Wallonie-Bruxelles International, continues to contribute directly to the modernization and rejuvenation of the Congolese public administration.
