The author, Loïc De Cannière, is founder, former CEO and Chair of the Supervisory Board of Incofin, a worldwide impact investment firm with extensive  experience  in Africa.

In his book, Loïc De Cannière draws on his deep  field experience in Africa in credit and finance for job creation, an essential element for development and for absorbing the rapid population growth in Africa – a continent that is projected to overtake Asia around 2060. He underlines the key role to be played by impact investments which yield social or ecological benefits. It is a forward-looking and positive view on Africa’s future which Mr. de Cannière will highlight during the seminar.
