Egmont Deterrence and Arms Control Conversations
The Egmont Deterrence and Arms Control Conversations is an initiative led by Karen van Loon and Wannes Verstraete that brings together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders for in-depth discussions on pressing deterrence and arms control challenges. Held at the Egmont Institute in Brussels, these interactive sessions feature high-level speakers who share their insights and expertise in the field of nuclear and conventional deterrence, arms control, non-proliferation, and disarmament. Participation is by invitation, and all meetings follow the Chatham House Rule to ensure open and constructive dialogue.
