Biography

After completing her Masters degree in Global Cooperation and Security at the University of Birmingham in 2017, Ellen Moser went on to work as a Research Associate for the Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security, before undertaking a Blue Book traineeship at the European Defence Agency in Brussels.

She joined the Egmont Institute in June 2018 as an Intern in the Education and Training Programme team, where she assisted with the organisation of training courses, as well as the partnership with the school of public administration of the Democratic Republic of Congo (ENA RDC).

She became Project Manager in March 2019, and since then has developed a number of training courses for foreign diplomats, in Brussels and abroad. She also manages a cooperation project with the Republic of Guinea, which aims to strengthen the country’s public administration through a training programme entitled ‘Parcours d’accompagnement pour l’acquisition d’un savoir être et d’un savoir-faire dans la conduite de l’action publique’.

In September 2022, Ellen became Programme Manager. She will be in charge of overseeing the planning and execution of the annual training programme organised for Belgium’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
