This timely event takes place in the lead-up to the second edition of the Africa Climate Summit, which will be hosted by the Government of Ethiopia later this year. It aims to inform and engage the diplomatic community in Brussels on Africa’s evolving leadership in the global climate agenda.
Keynote Address by Joseph Ng’ang’a
Mr. Ng’ang’a will deliver a keynote speech “Repositioning Africa: Climate Action, Energy Access and the Power of Partnerships”. Mr. Ng’ang’a will share insights on the shifting narrative around Africa – from climate vulnerability to opportunity – and the continent’s growing ambition to shape climate finance and clean energy transitions through initiatives such as the Africa Climate Summit and Mission300, which seeks to deliver energy access to 300 million people by 2030.
The keynote will be followed by a discussion with the audience.
