In his latest book, “How Migration Really Works: A Factful Guide to the Most Divisive Issue in Politics,” Hein de Haas draws upon over three decades of research to debunk persistent migration myths. As the next EU parliamentary elections approach, his presentation promises to offer a palette cleanser, transcending political framing to reveal migration as it truly is.

Hein de Haas is Professor of Sociology at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and Professor of Migration and Development at the University of Maastricht. He is the co-founder and director of the International Migration Institute (IMI). Following his presentation, there will be a Q&A session with participants.
