The Education & Training team is delighted to welcome 11 participants to an intensive 2-week training course in Civilian Crisis Management, the Belgian Generic Training (BGT). Since 2009, the Egmont Institute has been responsible for the organisation of the Belgian core course, which promotes an integrated and shared learning for experts from different professional backgrounds (civil servants, police officers and external experts) who aim at being deployed in missions by Belgium. The Egmont Institute is an active partner of the Belgian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Belgian Federal Police and the Belgian Ministry of Justice in the field of civilian crisis management. Three training sessions are scheduled to take place in 2024 – in March, September and November.
