18 – 29 Jun 2018: Training in Diplomatic Practices for English-speaking African countries

Starting on 18 June, the Egmont Institute organised a 10 day training programme in diplomatic (e-) practices with twelve fellow diplomats from Cabo Verde, Gambia, Ghana & Tanzania to foster relations with Belgium, introduceed them to international organisations in Brussels and strengthened their diplomatic skills.

In a rapidly changing world, it is important to constantly improve one’s diplomacy skills. Dialogue is key. Digital Diplomacy is also part of the programme. And a special simulation of the UN Security Council and negotiation sessions were delivered.
