Policy Ideas for the Next Institutional Cycle

With the adoption of the next Strategic Agenda and the beginning of a new institutional cycle around the corner, the European Union will need to increase its resilience and competitiveness in an increasingly volatile global context.

In the framework of the incoming Belgian Presidency of the European Council, the Egmont Institute and the European University Institute (EUI) are pleased to announce a joint workshop series on “Policy Ideas for the Next Institutional Cycle”.

These interactive workshops will bring together EUI academics, practitioners, EU officials, and Belgian civil society representatives to discuss policy recommendations in the fields of energy and climate policy, the EU financial sector, and macroeconomic governance.

The workshop series will take place at the Egmont Institute in Brussels between November 2023 and January 2024.
