Can Europeans have global impact in a multipolar age?’. This snapshot examines the rise of ‘strategic partnerships’, the ‘Grand Area’ and the connexion between the two. It argues that through a more refined strategy at the European level, Europeans can prevent disruption in the ‘Grand Area’, as well as the wider European neighbourhood, leading to enhanced security and prosperity.
