Fanny Segers

Biography

Fanny Segers Owieczka joined the Egmont Institute in September 2025 as a Trainee Project Assistant within the Education and Training Programme.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Cooperation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she developed a strong interest in international relations and policy-making. Her professional experience includes an internship at the Brussels Parliament, followed by a position as Political Collaborator at the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, where she specialised in gender equality and international relations.

These experiences strengthened her expertise in parliamentary work, policy analysis, and advocacy. She is particularly passionate about conflict resolution, gender equality, migration challenges and international cooperation.
