Tobias Gehrke

Biography

Tobias Gehrke is a Senior Associate Fellow in the Europe in the World Programme at the Egmont Institute and a Senior Policy Fellow for Geoeconomics at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR). Before joining ECFR, Tobias was a Research Fellow at Egmont between 2017 and 2022. His areas of focus include economic security, European economic strategy, and great power competition in the global economy. He has also been a visiting fellow at the National University of Singapore, the University of Nottingham, and the American German Institute at Johns Hopkins University, Washington DC.
