Laure Simonet

Biography

As part of her law degree at Ephec, Laure Simonet joined the Egmont Institute in February 2024 as a Trainee Project Assistant for the Education & Training Programme. During her studies, she had the opportunity to travel outside Belgium, going to Poland for a one-week bilingual exchange project, and also to Strasbourg and Luxembourg to visit the European institutions.

Growing up in a diverse environment, Laure showed an early interest for international relations and history in general. She likes to keep abreast of what’s going on in the world and follow how countries anticipate and manage conflicts.
